Notes
This build introduced some more changes.
The Setup layout has been changed, now you can see in what stage you are in and how far that stage is.
In the previous build in the OOBE you must chose a background, now you can click next to get the standard background (Vista Beta 2 wallpaper lake).
On the login screen you notice a few button changes, and the aurora is looks different.
Once you login and go to the desktop the Sidebar is active by default.
The Explorer and Control Panel view are now more like the final version of Windows Vista, including the banner where it is now noted that it is the Ultimate edition.
In the Control Panel on the Category view some items have been moved to others and back and icons have been updated.
Some icons, names have been changed such as
Backup & Restore to
Backup and Restore Center and including
Device Manager and
Digital Identities.
This version also introduces the ''dimmed'' desktop when there is a
User Account Control pop-up.
Included Applications like
Windows Media Player and
Windows Mail had some updates.
Internet Explorer is now known as 7+.
Windows Sidebar includes more gadgets, like an updated Calculator, Clock, new CPU Meter, Currency Converter, Sticky Notes, Stocks and Weather.
