This build is the earliest build that leaked of Windows Vista, then named Codename Longhorn.
There is much to tell about Codename Longhorn and Windows Vista, but you can look up that yourself, the only thing I note generally is that before the reset it was based on Windows .NET Server 2003 Release Candidate and after the reset on Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 Release Candidate.

In this build there are several difference between the previous client version of Windows (XP) and this one.
It features a new wallpaper, a new theme called Plex (Luna in Blue/Green/Silver and Windows Classic still available).
The Explorer shell also have some updates, in computer it has bars on how full the drive is and in the folder view it has a detailed view on top.
In Control Panel the options are mostly the same as in Windows XP but there are some new items like: My Hardware, Portable Audio Devices.
Some hints of Avalon is also there, the Display Properties is a Avalon Application, but hardly complete and buggy.

You can install the Media Center Edition via the steps below.
After installation it is highly unstable, in VMware it opens and closed almost instantly.
