Search
Enter a build number, a Windows version or a codename to start the search.

Press the ESC key to hide the search bar.

Change resolution in Safe Mode

This only works from Windows XP (Beta 2) and above!

Microsoft Windows XP/Server 2003


Step 1: Open the Display Properties at the Settings tab, click on Advanced.
Step 2: Go to the Adapter Tab, and press List all Modes.
Step 3: Select your desired mode and color depth and click OK then Apply.
Step 4: Windows will adjust the resolution to your specifications.

Microsoft Windows Vista/Server 2008


Step 1: Open Personalization and select Display Settings.
Step 2: Click Advanced Settings.
Step 3: Go to the Adapter Tab, and press List all Modes.
Step 4: Select your desired mode and color depth and click OK then Apply.
Step 5: Windows will adjust the resolution to your specifications.

Microsoft Windows 7/Server 2008 R2
